I just typed in boat plans in ebay and got a few things. If you play around with the words, you could probaly get more.

I haven't built any of their boats. Built a few of their planes. Decent plans and weren't very hard to understand.
Any of the plans that you get... The only instructions you get are the article that was printed in the magazine. You also get the blueprint to cut out the parts. Something like this. http://www.modelairplanenews.com/click_trips/april06/sperry_messenger.pdf
Posted that sorta to show you what you get. What I'm trying to say is it takes a little bit of doing. Every piece is going to be cut out by you. If it needs to be fabricated, you do it.
Not trying to discourage you, just saying it takes some time to do it.
It's a challenge and fun as hell to do.
Let us know what you decide. I think it's cool you want to build one from plans.
