Boat Hull Painting..

I want to paint the hull of my Mini-V project boat, What kind of paint should I use? Just some good ole plastic specific spray paint?

I'm guessing that it is made of styrene plastic so a good quality plastic model paint should work.

Hmm. not sure what kind of plastic the hull is.

n/m I just looked at the box. The hull is ABS.

i sanded the clear off mine and then sprayed it using krylon. it held up pretty good..

Cool. Thanks Blake. Just regular Krylon? Not plastic specific?

as far as i know, all the krylon paint is plastic specific. I used the ultra flat black, like ncnitro uses on his RC bodies.

I taped off the stuff i didnt want to paint, and used one of those sanding sponges to knock the shiny off of it, then sprayed it with the krylon.

I left the center of the bottom white, so if i hit anything it woudnt scrape the paint off.
