Fyi guys the Blue Thunder fuel has been causing problems. The blue chemical is breaking down and causing scoring to the carb and piston and sleeve. It breaks down and causes the engine to run hotter. My truck would run good then it would warm up and just continue to get hoter no matter how much I richened it. My LHS gave me the heads up so I just wanted to share.

i ran the smurf juice when i started, switched the white lightning and it was a huge difference. i dont use the blue stuff anymore.

Yea I hope I have not ruined my new piston and sleeve I just installed about a month ago.I haven't taken it apart yet but I think I'll try new fuel first.I was having a very hard time getting it dialed in also.Hopefully the new fuel will help.I think I'll go back to traxxas.

I'm all Byron gen2 now. I used to run BT. Killed my used S25 in one gallon and made the front bearing leak like crazy.

I wouldn't run traxxas either crash. Its too oily and makes the OWB slip. Make starting a son of a gun too.

Losi Nitrotane, it has no added dye, and it is clear as water, I have never touched anything after that for my rigs.

the white lightning is clear, but man it has a strong smell. its hard to find now a days to.. it had like 20% nitro and 8% oil. really ran nice!

:angry::angry::angry:well thats just great, i buy some fuel (blue thunder) then this thread pops up:angry::angry::angry::angry:

anyone interested in a free unopened 1qt 20% bottle of smurf juice just pay
