Does anyone use this online rentals? I used to use netflix last summer. I then started Blockbuster(liked the 2 instore rentles) I have been very upset with blockbuster and what movies they have in stock! Every movie I put on my wish list it says short wait for weeks. Then tonight I said F it cancelled by BB and went back to netflix(couple dollars more) and the movies that I wanted from BB netflix has every single one.

Is anyone else having this issue with BB? If so send them an e-mail like I did stating the truth about the service I was getting and they refunded me over half of what I was to pay that month. I also have to state the netflix ships faster as well.

Go Netlflix!

I have netflix and love it. They have the movie i want every single time. They have the classics too...

Yeah I don't think I will ever go back to blockbuster.

really I was thinking of going to BB. My late fees just kill me. What are the costs between the two?

I use NetFlix.
When I send a movie, they get it the next day. When they ship one I get it the next day.
They seem to understand that when you order a series that disk 1 is sent first. I have heard that BB will just send what they have in stock.

Nothing but good things to say about NF.

blockbuster dont charge latefees anymore
True BUT with this online service it seems that the selection is there.

BB seems to always have issues, at least in my experience.

my family gets netflix. they pretty much have everything in stock besides the ones that like just came out. before we did bb and everytime we got a latefee(we didnt do the online thingy though) but they just figured out a way to charge us for a latefee. netflix is way better.

I did the Netflix thing way back when they first started doing it. Service always seemed good to me. I liked it a lot.

Actually, that's almost, kinda, but not really bogus. blockbuster is currently being sued over this issue. Apparently (from what I've read) if you are late beyond a certain point (I believe it is 30 days) they automatically make you buy the movie. The newspaper said that wasn't disclosed. Seems kinda scammy if you ask me. :thumbdown

Netflix!!!

Been a customer for a while now.

When new releases come out we usually have them in hand when they are advertising on tv about the release.

FastEddy is right on, 1 day turnaround. can't beat that.

I dont have anything bad to say about NF.

how much is netflix running for a subscription, maybe it something i should look into. i havent been in a blockbuster in a while because i just use comcasts ondemand service.

I'm very pisst off with Blockbuster. I don't rent from online, but I'm a freedom pass member which allows me to rent 2 movies at a time and keep them for as long as I want and I can keep taking out more movies as many times as I want. Ever since they implemented this no more late fees, there are no new movies available because they don't have enough copies to compensate. I have emailed BB and gotten no response. They suck!

Team17, time to drop BB and get Netflix.

NF you dont have to leave the house, but to go to the mailbox!!!!!

Yeah I know. I deliver them everyday. I can say that I deliver netflix to about 30 homes compared to BB to 2 homes.

I stopped going to blockbuster long ago when Wayne Huizenga purchased them, and fired all the guys with long hair. Yes, I have long hair, 3/4 of the way or more down my back, that is discrimination plain and simple. I will have no part of any blockbuster program, or rental ever. Not to mention $4.50 for a two day rental had gotten way out of hand. Now, if you keep there dvd past a week over the due date, they charge you $1.50 restocking fee, don't they have to restock all the movies that are returned anyway? And yes, after a month you must pay retail for the movie. Misleading advertising? I say yes! Blockbuster SUCKS!

New Jersey took them to court over the late fee issue, saying it is mis-leading. So recently I noticed a new sign on the doors explaining in detail on how the no more late fee works.

Nothing to be sorry for. You were giving me another option in case I didn't know. Thanx.

NF isn't but a few bucks more. I signed up last night and they shiped my 3 movies today! I'm happy I made the move!
