Blitz & SV2 ESC Problem

Having some problems with my Blitz. Just put the SV2 esc in, and while under throttle the truck seems to go into neutral for a split second when you turn and again when you let off the steering. Very hard to keep any speed up because of it. I've done the binding and set the throttle/brake/neutral on the xmtr several times and the problem is still present.
I'm running a CC 3800kv 4 pole motor, PPP steering servo, and gensacearespammers 5000mAh 40C 2S lipo. All batteries are new or fully charged. I'm not sure on the quality of that servo, was a previous owner build.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, i would trash the servo, go with a savox and install a glitch buster, you shouldnt have any more problems.

You might try adding a CC BEC to get more power to your electronics, sometimes the ESC'S built in BEC doesn't have enough power under a load to run everything, a CC BEC will give you a continuous 10 amps at 6 volts or what volts you program it for. I forget what the minimum and maximum voltage it can be programmed for is off hand, but I do know the BEC that is built into CC ESC'S are not very strong. Anyway just an idea of what the problem might be.

The PPP servo is a great servo unless something is wrong with it but a failing servo as far as I know isnt going to affect the throttle. The PPP servos ( depending on which one you have are either 208 oz/in and .13 sec or 244 oz/in and .14sec.

+1 on the BEC. The CC BEC can be set anywhere from 5V to 9.5V if memory serves but you will need a Castle link to change it from the default setting on your PC. You can get Cheaper BECs that will work also. I can't remember if its hobbypartz.com or hobbyking.com that sells a 6A BEC and also a 3A BEC that are changable from 5V to 6V which 6V should be all you need. Depending on how much electronics your running You might be able to get away with a 3A if you're only running 1 steering, 1RX, and 1motor fan off of it the 3A one will work and they are pretty cheap.

I would check for loose connectors and loose and/or cold solder joints also.

I guess I'll look into the CC BEC. My solder joints look good, never thought of that being a possible problem. Thanks for that tip, something to keep in mind for the future.
As far as the electronics I'm running, basic stuff. No fans, just the esc, servo and rcvr. However, I think I might add a fan to the esc, it heats up pretty quick.
When I get this BEC, how do I tie it in exactly? Will I need any special connections?

PS... I have the castle field link and went through and changed performance parameters a little... problem still there.
