A little game I was playing this weekend involved placing 8" dinner plates around the house. I would take off and attempt to land on each plate, all the while trying to avoid the furniture, walls, ceiling fans, wife, etc. The plates were at different heights. Some were on the floor, the ottoman, or the dining table. Depending on the surrounding furniture/walls the prop wash will affect the way the heli handles, which made it both challenging and fun.

Man I want to come play at your house.......my wife would no more let me fly around the house, than she would let me have stippers to dinner.

Cool game though......I will just have to stick to the micro T and toilet paper roll jumps..

Use that new body reamer from TeamFE to poke a couple holes in the canopy right across from the pots on the 4in1. Now you can make adjustments with the canopy on. Have fun!

Found this on the other forum. Direct fit replacement packs that have longer flight times and compatible with the stock charger.

I called them up to see if they have a retail store. They do not have a walk in location but one of their dealers (California Hobbies) is very close to my house. I plan on picking up a pack or two to try out.

I bought a CX2 a bit ago myself. Been a blast. I thought i wouldn't need the training wheels for my first flight-I was wrong, though. I've crashed it a few times, had to wait for replacement parts, and enjoyed every minute of it. Not quite skilled enough for inside the house yet- (I am not an expert trimmer-outter yet ) but I'll be there in a few months....years....

It has been a blast.

I didn't even take the training ball thing out of the package. It is so easy to fly that they aren't even needed IMO.

I have had a few crashes and have broken 5 blades. Luckily they are cheap and easy to replace.

I even got bold enough to take it outside. Unfortunately a light gust of wind caught it and I was unable to recover in time before it went into the bushes. Nothing broke, but it seems one motor is now faster than the other no matter how I trim it out. I need to see whats up.

I bought a Lama a while back, its been a blast. I just can't seem to end a session without a crash. Haven't had your problem though, are you using a heatsink for you motors?

No heatsinks.

I haven't run it since the motor issue. I need to charge a pack and see if it's still doing it.

I was told that if you decide to run with more than one pack that you either had to let the motors completely cool before swapping, or use the heatsink.

That may have something to do with it then. When one pack dumps, I slap in a new one and keep going without waiting.
