It was extremely fun to hydroplane, got to buy better tires suited for this type of bashing, momentum is key to make it through the sections.

> all electronics perfectly fine after two battery packs and testing the next day. To be safe placed the Rx in uncooked rice bag.
 
The Blackout had SCT to Truggy conversion, along the way swapped the spur and pinion gear to compensate for the big tires. Swapped front shocks as they cracked along the piston housing.IMG_20180324_155632.webp


So much fun, and breaks less w the big cushion tires.

On a 2S 4000mah ROAR approved runs good, controllable power, on 3S its just out of control and becomes a wheelie basher.

Had some Traxxas body towers, some zip ties and raised the SCT body to clear for the big tires.

I have driven the Tamiya Blackfoot, and it just feels like that but on a BL setup, handles almost the same w the higher center of gravity.
