Does anyone sell the Traxxas bigblock mount with out all the extra parts? I don't really need a new flywheel, FOC kit and things like that.

i looked and no such luck I'm actully in the same situation i have the foc and stuff just need the mount

Might as well get the whole kit at this point! Oh well.

I have the Picco .26 Maxx with the oftna mount. I want to put the big block mount in to get some adjust ability back. The stock gear ratio is fine but for the power the Maxx puts out you can do so much better.

i have a .26 max with the big block mount and just recently change to the ofna mount because i couldn't get the throttle arm mount smooth enough. with the ofna mount it works much much better. as far as adjustability i opened up the hole and did some grinding for more adjustment.

They said that you would have to rotate the carb a bit if you used the big block mount with it. There has to be a better way!!!

yeah your right about rotating the carb,,,,, but it's just a PITA. I ran it with the big block mount for a few months and what would happen is since the throttle arm would not pull the slide carb out straight it would evenually loosen up the carb. Maybe I don't know what I was doing, but i'm much happier with the ofna mount. If you have a dremel tool it just takes a couple of minutes of grinding and your done with it. good luck

So, a little grinding goes a long way. Where did you grind and did it allow you to get some new CB's in there?

I'm using a 40 spur and the stock CB (15??) and that would NOT fit with the stock OFNA mount. I slotted the hole and also had to grind some of the mount away to go lower. If you want i'll take a picture of it tonite and post it.

That would be great. I think I was running 16/40 or something like that. now I am box stock.

THE NEW ERA MOUNT FOR THE PICCO. IS REAL NICE. Its slotted just like the stock mount. Its also billet not cast. I have it it works great.

Yep:

That looks great! It looks like I would have plenty of room for the picco and a 16/40 set up. Let me check into my funding options and get back to you...
