Thinking of buying the (new?) Bezgar HM102 brushless. Does anyone own this vehicle or have any opinions on it?

Frank, I would do some research and see what parts are available. I'm thinking that is a Amazon special and honestly, I wouldn't do it. Just my opinion mind you..

I personally would steer clear of that one Frank. There appears to be absolutely no parts available for it. Not even stock replacements. If anything broke, your only option would be to buy a second one to have a parts donor. That could get very painful.

I bought a couple Bezgar DB type things for my daughters and broke a steering arm like right away lol I think it broke from me crashing into it with my DB Pro, but anywho, what you'll do is register for the warranty through email. You will send them receipt and a picture of the warranty card (which is odd since it's basic). After they activate your warranty you can send them the part # that's broken and they will hook you up with the part :thumbs-up:

The manual has an exploded view of each part and part #s

Can you still buy parts for it once the warranty runs out?

Don't see why not as long as they are still a company haha But that's the downside to buying from a company who hasn't been established for years and years. I guess I'll find out after a year :D

Thank you for the information.

I don’t know how much difference it might make as far as breakage, but I don’t intend on doing any bashing or unusually hard driving. I know things can break with normal use though! There happened to be a good price (25%off) on that particular vehicle. Might just go with a more established brand and save myself a headache down the road. Basically I would enjoy running around in short grass, dirt, pavement etc. at a decently fast speed!

I wouldn't bash em hard no. I imagine their brushless models are decent speed wise, but I have no experience with their brushless stuff so I'm not sure :) I was happy with how quickly they responded to my emails

I know its tempting to go with something that looks like a really good bargain but you're better off going this 👆 route. Id recommend looking at something like the Stampede 4WD VXL or the Rustler 4WD VXL instead of the Bezgar. The Stampede is about $150 more than the Bezgar and the Rustler is about $180 more but theyre really worth the extra money. Not only are they built better but if you do break something or you reach a point where you you want to start putting upgrades on one of those all the replacement and aftermarket parts you could ever want can be found either at your local hobby shop or any one of a dozen websites online. That my :2cents: anyway. :)

Customer service is a good indicator of product sometimes

Well… my wife got me that Bezgar HM102 for Xmas! The one you guys suggested I steer clear of ! Had no idea, but at least it didn’t cost me a penny.

I purchased the Bezgar HM102 as well. For some reason it's been pulled from Amazon? That said, it is extremely fast and pretty well built. I did break a rear suspension holder due to not seeing a post sticking out of the ground and my left rear tire hit dead on. I emailed the customer service line for replacement parts and received a reply within a half hour with the amazon link to the Lagendary store. Apparently they are the OEM for this Bezgar model. Had the new part in 2 days. They then emailed me with a free part offer due to my issue. Gave my 6 parts to choose from, including the brushless ESC, which i chose. Received within the week. For my first Hobby grade RC, I'm very pleased. Waiting for a response on why they pulled from Amazon. Take care! Aaron

Hey folks...just popped in to say that we purchased the HM102 from Amazon for my son. It has since been pulled(?) from Amazon. He broke the plastic front suspension arm and the plastic front shock tower within the hour. We have been in touch with warranty folks and they do offer one free replacement part (just so happen to be a carbon front shock tower or a aluminum front suspension arm, hmm). I have requested that they send both parts rather that just the one choice. Let you know how that goes.

Glad to hear about Tripodal's experience, and that there is a store for parts.

Would you mind sharing that Legendary Store link?

Wow, that is encouraging! I took mine out for a spin yesterday 12/28 due to unusual warm weather. It was a blast, and yes it is fast as far as I’m concerned. I don’t plan on any bashing, but I know accidents happen.

I received the both aluminum front suspension arm, a carbon front shock plate, and carbon rear shock plate at no charge. The items arrived quickly.

None of the items came with directions, but did come with all hardware. I have no experience with RC cars until this purchase, but had to no real issue with installing the new parts.

I have not found any Bezgar parts anywhere on the web or Amazon, but have found that the Laegendary Thunder 1:10 brushless (https://laegendary.com/collections/rc-cars/products/thunder-1-10-scale-rc-car-40-mph-brushless) has the same parts as the Bezgar HM102. Part can be found on that site, but most of the necessary ones are "Out of Stock"...likely because they need to send to RC car purchases that have broken as replacement parts.

There are also parts found here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/...f=SLP_FW_570E2737-5D61-4E51-9F48-511F83C1A7B9

Good info, thanks. Will be interesting to see how this car/truck holds up. I have been reading lots of reviews on different vehicles including those from traxxas and arrma. You would think these much more expensive vehicles would hold up better, but real people reviews don’t seem to bear this theory out?
