whats the best truggy to get right at or under 500. preferably one that is durable and dont have to buy a million items before it runs good.

just picked up a ofna hyper 8 st truggy seems good ran it few times

hey rcman how much did the ofna hyper 8 st truggy run?? i watched a few videos on it and it seemed pretty durable just didnt seem like it had much top speed on it? it is def a item of interest tho

if you are looking for new ride always check if there are all spare parts on the internet ready to buy because there are too many people buying new toys and after few week's they reallize that they can't fix it because they can't find the spare parts :\

the best truggy on the market IMO is the team x-ray xt8...this truggy is alot more durable than any other truggies in the way that this truck doesn't were out like other ones will...this truggy is a solid platform and will not develop slop in hubs and other parts like any other truggy will...also it is only $20 more than you said and it will be WAY more durable than the hellfire that was posted above...but like i said JMO

the hellfireSS is a great truggy. the revo can make a hell of a truggy also, and parts are EASY to get for revo's

First a Revo is not a truggy.

Second I believe I've heard the Hellfire is discontinued, and anyways it's a bed platform.

Yeah, for whatever reason the Hellfire never caught on. I still stand by the TTR ST-1 if durability is the most important attribute.

i still stand for the x-ray xt8 and will not back down from it unless somthing else new comes out that totaly blows my mind...like i said the xt8 is a awsome truggy, it doesn't were out like other truggys and it all around handles better

hey out of boredom and curiousity if money wasn't a problem what would be the best buggy to get? rtr of course

I've heard the new rc8t is pretty beastly.. and the rtr isnt bad either.. but i have ran xray and its one of the best I've drove..

Wait for the Hot Bodies D8T kit, the Lightning is not the same. I have friend sponsored by Hot Bodies, they are good buggies. I am sure the Truggy will be awesome as well.
This is the best most durable Truggy for 500 bucks on the market. With the discount codes Tower is offering it should fall into your price range.

The RC8T is another excellent choice but the Jammin is more durable with parts more accessible.

wow def like the truggy kswiencki gave the link for. that thing looks bad anyone got some info on these things? i think i might have just changed my mind again :))

where can i get tower hobbies discount codes? and with the codes how low will it bring the jammin down to??

The jammin is another excellent choice.. i ran that before my XT8 and is a really reliable truggy.. but i got a feeling if you are looking to get serious its going to be outdated pretty quick with all the new truggys coming out.. but awesome for starting

What do you mean outdated, the X2 hasn't even been out for 6 months. This isn't an Xray where they "update" the car two times a season. :p:

Anyways there's no such thing as "the best truggy". It all comes down to what you can get parts for, and what you like.

lol thts is true but you dont see to many jammin around.. Its kind of like the band wagon i think.. if it aint a big name it aint poop..
