hey whats the best radio? i was thinking JR SX3 but i dunno if thoughs servos are good for onroad speed...

thanks!
:ball:

HOw much do you want to spend? IMO the jrsx3 is not sufficient for top of the line onroad racing. Something like the 3pk (futaba) R1 (jr) m11(airtronics) or the koPropo radio would be something the serious racer would be looking into. And for servo's I wouldn't use seomthing that comes with a radio. I'd be looking for a fast strong servo for steering and throttle control. Again it comes down to what you want to spend!

I'm really not familiar what's available in that range but you should be able to get a pretty nice FM system for that amount of dough. If you're concerned with the servos that come with the package remember what you need for touring cars. If you're experienced you want a FAST steering servo that's also strong enough. If you're learning you really don't want a servo that too fast because it will inhibit you're ability to learn to drive. 60 degrees in the .10-.12 range is pretty fast. Also, some radios have the ability to slow your servos reaction. The higher end radios have that ability.. like the Airtronics M11 and Futaba 3PK. I have a 3PK and have been utilizing this feature since I got the Virtual RC simulator. It helps a lot!
