i usually use tower but with my rc10gt i have found that they dont have much so where else is good?

thanx guys ill have to check these sites out

Ouch! Manufacturers website is full retail, most won't undercut the shops so they sell at MAP.

Yeah, I noticed that with lunsford because that was the only place I found the turnbuckles I wanted for my aftershock upper arms.

Found them much cheaper at www.killerhobbies.com... at least I think that's where I bought them.

I race with a Panther rep and he's actually said and posted that while they will sell direct to you and they have the capabilities on their website that they still prefer you buy from a shop.

nitrohouse.com for OFNA gear is also good.....and of course all of the above have some of my money.

I really try to support th local guy if I can FIRST....and then the net. I have noticed a growing number of chop shops on Ebay that disassemble the kits for the popular parts....and practically give the rest away if you are paying attention.

I in fact just scored about $80 worth of parts for less than $40 shipped to my door....can't beat that.

+1 on Talon's recommendation; the ebay choppers are the best way to get parts. I scored a set of Savage center bones for about $9 shipped a while back. I also picked up the polished pipe for about $12 shipped.

The key is to know how to search; pay attention to the common typos, and use them as search terms. You'll be amazed at how often a mis-spelled word can score you a great deal.

I was using eBay for a lot of parts but "word" got out and things started going for more than what you could get them for at an online shop. Besides that, I have no lhs. There's two hobbyclowns in town and another independent shop but unless you run some sort of Traxxas, HPI, or other RTR you're SOL!

Whoops.....I guess I should say....forget ebay.....those ar MY parts....;)

No "word " out here....
