Just wonderin what you guys run or recommend. I wanna run a 6s lipo setupp on my flux now that I'm used to my 4s setup, but I want runtime and reliablitity. (Def don't wanna fry my esc with a cheapo battery.) I need somethin 25c or higher for those of you unfamiliar with flux. Also had a couple questions.
1. I want runtime to be as long as possible without overheatin the motor. Would I b better off runnin two 3s batteries around 8000mah each in series, or could I run two 6s batteries in parallel?
2. What's the most reliable brand for batteries, and will the charger I have b ok to charge a 7000 to 8000mah battery? I have a charger that supports up to a 6s lipo with no modification as it has balancing ports for 2s thru 6s, but its 5 amp max on the charge.

Also if it makes a difference I'm just bashin not racing, and while ill do the occasional standing backflip to show it off, for the most part I'm just doin donuts jumps, n high speed passes. Thanks for any advice guys!

Theres no right answer when it comes to brands of lipo in my opinion. I've ran Turnigy in 4 and 6s aplications with 0 problems and will stick with them, but others might say they are cheap and dont want to run them....usually guys who havent are the ones that say that though.

6s page. Here.

3s page. Here.

Cool thanks for the link imma try n order some next week if you say they're decent. Are you runnin em in a savage as well, or different application?

Any opinions on how to get best run time? Should I go with like the 5000mah 3s in series or could I get 6s packs and parallel them to the esc for combined run time?

I've not run them in a savage but I ran 4 and 6s setups (2-4000 3s packs) in a 1/8th buggy. Got like 40 minute run times with it. I run 3s 5000's in my slash's and get 40-60 minutes run time of all out throttle with them. I also run 4s 1000's on my crawler which is dual motors, dual esc's and get up wards of an hour off them too.

The 3s 5000's in series would way less than two 6s packs which would be good...

If 5000 lasts that long with two 3s packs ill prolly run that as I don't wanna overheat the motor. Thanks for the advice on them, now just gotta figure out how to keep the tires on the rims lol. Even with 4s and beadlockers I'm ripin tires off so I'm sure 6s will be no better on em.

One thing to remember when ordering from them is that the package will have to be signed for.

Didn't know that lol. Thanks for the heads up I guess ill have to have em shipped to my work. Is it because they are batteries or just how the company ships?

Prolly because their batts I'm guessing.

I just ordered 2 lipos from them and it didnt need to be signed for. I bought some zippy lipos. Not as large as you are looking for. But I would order from them again in a heartbeat.

Did you get the fast shipping or the slow shipping? Maybe that makes the difference.
