I think @Doom! nailed it when you first posted about this rig. You are not a salesman, just an enthusiast doing a review. Stay objective.
Having said that, you do seem to have a bias; and That’s not an insult, just my perception.
Sometimes the tone of Someone’s message is lost in text, so don’t take it personally. I think most everyone on this forum is pretty considerate, especially with the the state of social media these days.
I still think the truck has a lot to offer for the money, and could be a great starter. Trying to convince a group of knowledgable RC Nerds that they should consider this rig over a traxxas is a big ask.
Your videos were pretty good, and show a lot of promise, keep up the good work.
I agree with your assessment, but the price is misleading, it's not 270$, it's 340$

I appreciate the review but IMO I shy away from any amazon special rc car.
For me, I would go with the TRX4 all day long.
Funny, I shy away from Traxxas as I have never really seen value for money from them.

I usually like kyosho/losi/xray/axial/TA/LC Racing or bangood cars.

I find the cheap end of the market is better with "Amazon special" type cars and the high end is better with the more $$$pecialist brands.

The TRX4 is one of the better crawlers out there.

And as far as the other Traxxas offerings, they have their place. I would definitely buy a Traxxas before buying an Amazon special or anything off banggood. The banggood stuff, typically there are no good upgrades for them. And if their are upgrades, it's just more cheap Chinese aluminum stuff, if you even want to call Chinese aluminum aluminum. It's just slightly harder than 3 week old chewing gum.

Oh yeah they raised the price but at the time of recording us was only $240 on sale
Yeah, at $240, they were worthy of consideration. At $320, it's a hard pass for me.

There are definitely some "super low quality" cars out there masquerading as "ok cheap cars".

There is also the WL toys vs LC racing debate (cheap fun vs a bit less cheap and quite good).

Banggood and Ali express will also sell real dogpoo cars too, so it takes a bit of trial and error + searching to find things that are worth buying.

I do have more broken parts on my HPI/maverick car than my LC racing cars though and I can only get decent carbon parts for the LC racing ones.

I've had a few cheap Chinese cars in my day, but I only have two right now, plus a few WPL trucks, and while they are decent RC's, I wouldn't buy any more. They don't inspire me to upgrade them like other more well known brands do.

I am not a big crawler guy and I had only 2 crawlers, trx4 and trx4 sport. Although I traded trx4 sport for 3 nitro cars that are in decent shape but need some minor work, tmaxx 3.3, Revo 3.3 and jato 3.3.

Trx4 sport is probably the best crawler on the market, it has all features that someone needs for crawling. Good design and performance, almost indestructible, waterproof, in my opinion key feature, portal axles, good aftermarket support, and I am sure parts will be available for the next 2 or even 3 decades to come. The only thing that I don't like about Traxxas crawlers are linkage, they are made out of steel and when scratched they can rust, but on the other hand aluminum would not be so durable, and I don't think any rtr company would use titanium.

Also, resale value of Traxxas cars is the best out of all, and Chinese don't have any resale value. Obviously rc hobby is not an investment, and usually never sell my collection, sometimes I would trade for something interesting, but I know that most likely all used Traxxas cars I bought I will able to sell for the same money I bought, maybe even slightly more after I fix them if they need some work
