I paid jack for my kanai2, got it used vgc. But if i was buying one new - i still think it'd be worth every cent too. Didn't say the X5's or storms were inferior (where did that come from) - but while it feels good to win with anything at the track, you can win with anything at the track.

When it comes to beating the crap out of them, I just think the k's hold up a bit better and for longer. and if moneys the matter, theres plenty of good deals on ebay. thats all i was trying to say.

vb - the sports (rtr?) isn't too bad at all, my friend owns one, but to get it up to par with the kanai's, you probably would want to upgrade a few things along the way - spur, diff main gears, maybe some shocks and aftermarket shock towers etc - but for the most part its pretty sweet out of the box for its price

If you ever want to race the Violater is just that. Arms are too long for almost all compition as well as the gas tank being to large.

Just my two cents I picked up a Hyper PBS a few weeks ago and am really happy with it. The Hyper motor is hard to breakin but worth it when its done this thing runs like a raped ape. The only down fall is the starter box it comes with is weak and I had to up grade it. Also the PCR edition is the same rig with some upgrades and a pull start. Hope this helps and you fined what you like.

Hey just wondering, they hyper .21 8 port that comes in the pcr edition says it has a turbo head, does that mean that i need a turbo plug?

I called OFNA and they said it is not a turbo engine. It requires a long plug though so depending on where you live your plug choice will be right or wrong. I mean is it hot or cold where you live. I hve a medium plug and hot plug. MC-9 (Med), MC-59(HOT)

THe engine I have is the Hyper 21 8 port race engine. This is the Non Pull start mill. Has 2.7hp at 38000rpm.
