RC Driving Style
hey guys I'm looking for a buggy that is one of the best out there. MONEY is not a problem. i need one that is extremely fast and is reliable. one that corners well and wont always spin out. it needs to be strong enough to bash and have a good line of aftermarket parts. but mainly the speed and strength. i just cannot decide. i have found some that are strong but not fast. and i have found fast but will break from any crack in the road. i know some of the people reading this have quite a bit of experience and that it would be best to find out from others personal experiences. thanks:first_place:

ALL BUGGIES can be fast and can handle well. Durability and quality is really what sets them apart. My TTR S3 is pretty tough but it's a pretty dated design these days. I don't know about the mainstream rigs or anything else for that matter.

i am used to being a basher owning 7 tmaxx and 3 savages (like the savages more though) so i can't go without durability, but i want a race quality as well. so I'm not sure. oh i also was looking for another buggy that was extremely fast, i am going to attempt a record distance jump. and the only reason i have more maxxs than savage is because they break more so i buy more of them to swap parts

I have a 777sp2.....but I'm leaning towards the JQ "The" Car. From everything I've seen it looks like a very high quality buggy.

The JQ car is a big POS. It was such a POS that Squirrel from youtube never finished or released his review vid on it. He said it wasn't worth reviewing and he sold it off and never said another word about it. Now that was about 6-8 months ago but unless alot has changed since then...I wouldnt go for a JQ.

Personally If I couldnt have a Mugen Id get a Losi 8ight if I couldnt get that Id get a Hyper 9

Look into the X-RAYs if money is no issue! The few I have seen, have stomped the competition. The chassis keep all parts nice and safe! Buy me one too of ya want!

Peace,

Hot boddies D8 Hara addition. or the team associated rc 8.2

I have to say this. I bought a team durango dnx408 and for comp. This thing is bad a$$. so much so that I just ordered 2 moore from amain. I'm completly amaised w/it. Build is easy parts are quality made.( I do not endorse any rc ) I put a go engine on and it's a land missle. I still love my d8 and d8 hara. but this is easier all around and moore durable.:first_place:

so far thats given me a lot to think about on what i want, but its not just chassis and durability. i also need a long lasting engine, one that has lots of low end torque and lots of top end, easy to tune and will just last as long as the car sound like it does. thanks

Go tec Engines 5r .21 is wicked fast and tons of torque both low end and mid to upper end Up to 44000 rpm true abc. Overdrive rc is where I got mine and it's not expensive 209.00:first_place:

I don't have a lot of experience with nitro engines but I have had a novarossi .21 and I love it. Good lower end but a blazing mid and upper band.

How does the XRAY XB9 compare to Losi 8ight 2.0?

Xray is awesome. I don't have the xb9 I have the on road but if the quality is the same its great but part are expensive and sometimes hard to get in eastern us.

I think that Mugen makes as durable stuff as there is, my MBX5T rarely breaks. I just got a losi eight 2.0 and it is sweet, mainly I say that because of handling but I think it will be fairly durable as well.

Team Associated RC8.2e is excellent! Love the way it handles, corners, and jumps. Very durable! Great kit!
