Bell housing won’t spin

So I recently swap a new dynamite .28 big red monster but when I place the bell housing and tighten down the screw the bell housing locks up. Any ideas on what I can do. Also placed pix of the shaft to the bell housing when installed.

Is the ceank the same length? Any chance you can try a washer?

Thank you I checked the washer on the old mach .26 big difference. Swapped over and smooth now. Bell housing now moves freely

Smaller washer belongs to the old .26
