Beginning in Nitro RC.

Hi,
Lately i have been into alot of electric rc, but i wanted to try something different. So i was thinking about a Rc Buggy type car, I'm not really sure which one to get. But after some brief searching i found a Nitro buggy for not too much and looks quite durable, can anyone give me some opinions on different buggys, or http://www.nitrorcx.com/1scniofbu.html this buggy. I race at a dirt track with lots of jumps and such.

XTM is probably about as cheap as your going to want to go with a hobby grade RC:

I wouldn't go so far as to say "junk", but I would caution that you often get what you pay for. Any of those buggies that you linked to would be beginner level at best and would not stand up to heavy bashing nor racing. For putting around they may be fine.

If it were my dollars I would look to spend about $300-$400 and get something with a solid reputation and that will last beyond one session at the track. You don't need to drop $700 on a Losi 8ight to have fun. As suggested look into OFNA. They have a multitude of buggies in their stable and are a solid company with a lot of wins at the track under their belt.
