Beginner to nitro RC

One of my LHS's now sells a Redcat truck. I doubt they stock parts for it, but they DP stock ECX parts to my surprise and sell the Ruckus. No HPI parts though other than tires and wheels. Of course Traxxas wall to wall as well.

I don't think you'll find many ppl here endorcing a redcat... At all! It's always a good idea to check in with local hobby shops to see what they are carrying for kits and parts!
