When it comes to wine, I'm a homer. Upstate New York has a HUGE wine industry. All you have to do is Google "Finger Lakes Wineries" and you should get hundreds of hits. I tend to drink them mostly. I'm all about the reds. I like Cabernet. Pinot Noir. But then it's off track with NY wines. Montezuma Canvassback Red. Swedish Hill Vidal Blanc. Knapp Finger Lakes Chardonnay. We make it a point to take wine tours a couple times during the summer but we have barely scratched the surface of all the wineries around here.
