I am having troubles getting the aluminum steering kit I ordered with the bearing upgrade. I guess my question is now that I have to re-source the system, can I use any aluminum steering kit and purchase the ball bearing upgrade seperately and install with out modification? Or do I need a specific bearing for specific systems? I just dont want to order a system and then order a bearing kit for the factory set up and have it not work.
Thanks in advance!!

That draglink, coupled with a metal C spring on the servo horn/saver will take alot of the slop out. I just took the metal C spring from the savage throttle linkage, and reshaped/cut it to length. Fits like a glove, and takes the wandering right out.

I actually installed a mid sized servo by cutting off the ears and doing a little dremel work on the chassis so it would fit. Used shoe goo to attach it and went direct with no servo saver. I raced it all last season without a problem. Zero wandering.

This thing gets beat on. I am doing a build up anyway

Have you gotten the parts on your vehicle yet?? :)

Oh yeah, I went out and beat her yesterday, She held up great. I found a new bash spot that has a hill climb with hard pack and loose almost sand like terrain, well at the bottom is a whole line up of jumps. Sick new bash spot. The 18t probably got about 15 feet distance and about 6' of air comming out of the hole. Pretty nice, she took plenty of tumbles that would have mangled a stock one. Even a spectator said wow that thing is durable. LOL!!

Oh yeah Mamba 8000kv as well, it killed my buddies Mlst2 up the hill climb!! :)
