I've heard that. Personally, I think you're all freaks! 🤣
Thank you 😜🤪😜👍👍

I can sit in the shop every day and strip a rig completely down to single parts and rebuild it. I also like working on my ATVs but hate working on my real vehicles. Yep, its official, I'm a freak.... :p
Love fixing anything that involves turning wrenches/sockets/hammer any power tool and getting dirty.. building stuff out of anything is very rewarding.. no matter what. Rcs ,building, house, cars, trucks,, JUST ABOUT ANYTHING!!! Freaks it is then all the way. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I'm much more about playing with and testing electronics than driving the kits. Most of the kit driving I do is usually to test something lol. Occassionally I do like to just get out and bash the crap outta something though lol

guilty as charged. I'm always seeing stuff and going OH! I want that so I can eventually do this or that with it and then half the time it just sits in a drawer cuz either plans change or I just never get around to building whatever it is. I'm a bit of an RC hoarder. Much to my bank accounts dismay lol. You guys would crack up if you saw my spare ESC/Motor drawer. lol

I'm with @Xraycer , I'm a driver not a mechanic. I enjoy doing the cosmetic detail work, but I just want my cars to automatically work, don't have time for maintenance it's cuts into my play time.

OK whatever could go wrong, did go wrong so let's start from the left in the pic.

Stampede 4x4 = A few weeks back I changed out the receiver so I could use another transmitter so my son could come out to play, I FORGOT THE OTHER TRANSMITTER...

Typhon = After adding Loctite to the slipper clutch the last time I worked on it, it still won't hold and having a tough time figuring out why? NO RUN

Stampede 2wd = Only ran about 2 mph. It's like its cogging like a big dog. It could be the spur gear is ready to take a big doo doo.
It is definitely a cheap amazon brushless system and I've wanted to upgrade for a long time now. NO RUN...

Last but not least, the TMax revved up instantly on my tailgate of the truck and smoked the spur gear. NO RUN... The good news is, it fired right up.

Sad part is, I've made it a habit to check every rig out with battery before we load up and hit the road. Was it just one of those days?

I've had some days like that before, but usually I at least got one truck to give me some wheel time. Sorry about your luck!

Dang, this sounds like a country song 🤔

I'm also not having a great day. Sustained a sport injury today, so its looking like I'll be spending most of my time, for the next couple of days, "resting" 🙁

I LOL'd hard at this! Sorry about the injury, did you xray it? 🤣

@Tunedpipe We've all been there, doesn't make it any less sucky though. This is why I need a pit crew!

The Stampede 2wd worked just fine when I got home. Must have been a little pebble or something stuck in the spur. I ran it for about 15 minutes in the front yard and worked great.
The Stampede 4x4 I also ran in the yard just to get my fill.
I ordered a new spur for the Tmax.
Haven't worked on the typhon yet but I will sometime to day.

Sorry you had a crappy outing. Hopefully you get all the bugs worked out for next time. That Mad Crusher is getting even with you and tossing monkey wrenches into your kits when you aren't looking. I hear that is where it got its name 😜

Well obviously it was just homesick! :)

Never thought about that but so true... :p . Honestly, I'm thinking about selling the Mad Crusher because I'm just not into nitro that much.

Don't sell it til I have enough to buy it. I have been wanting one for a while now. 😉

I hate days like that. So disappointing.
