my sons batterys went down today what kind of bat's should i get for the e maxx thinking 7 cell i need something not to expensive because i think he trashed the others.

These areent the best batteries on the market but my buddy runs them in his E-max and they run fine. For bashing anyways. I even bought a few to run my electric cars and buggies. They seem to last pretty long and provide wheelie power almost unltil they are dead.

Two 3000mAh NiMH battery packs for only $55

yeah, the 3300 ma cells are amazing! friend has an TC3 with 3300's in it, runs about 20minutes as well. I would avoid the 7cells. Tehy wont give u any more run time, just more power.

i ended up getting a guy to make a set of 3000 mah cells i held w/6 but i sure wanted to go 7 cell.

about 15 to 20 min there not bad i'm going to try to get some 7 cells in the next week or so.

Have you ever thought about doing the battery mod for the e-maxx on the Traxxas site..I'll try to find the link for it.

Yes you can buy sub-C NiCd or NiMh batteries one cell at a time. Then weld a comm bar between each terminal, solder a wire lead from the - end and one from the + end and wrap it in some shrink tube.....this is best left to someone who knows how to do this. I would NOT recommend anyone try this on their own.....if you heat the batteries tooo much during the welding process they can explode.
