Battery recomendations for converting traxxas slash 2wd to brushless

I have a traxxas slash that I plan to put a brushless motor/esc kit into rated for 12v. First of all can the battery go over/under 12v or does it need to be at 12v? And secondly what t pole connector batteries would fit best?

The system you showed will not support a 3 cell lipo for long .To high a kv. 4750kv . and that system might be cheap but its censor less those systems have a stutter .get a censored system. stay with 2 cells ..Id use a xt 90 battery plug...

Too high of a kv for extra voltage. 2s 8.4v max. Or 2s LiHV 7.6v max.
XT60 / XT90 plug would be fine. Direct 5mm bullets can also work. Or EC5.
