I truly didn't want to start a separate thread for my SCX30, but I know I'll have too many pictures to post in someone else's thread, so I'm just going to post my entire experience here
Mine finally arrived yesterday OMG it's tiny..!! how can this thing be any good I asked myself.?
Only thing I've done to the truck so far is paint the headlight and tail light buckets chrome (lights are now brighter) also painted inner lamps amber..
My SCX30 life so far..
Earlier that day I received my supplies to make the now infamous aluminium tape and cloth rock course..
My rock cloth course took me 2hrs and 10 minutes to complete from start to finish, and trust me my knees, legs and back are all suffering..

It's roughly 1.5m x 2.2m, (5'x 7' ish for my friends across the pond) I used 100mm (4") tape and it took almost two rolls, the rolls are 45m long.
and so it begins....
As you'll soon see I didn't use the usual drop cloth everybody uses, I stumbled on a video the other day where they used a photo studio backdrop, and OMG I'm so glad I went this route because it blew me away how good it looked once setup.!!
