I have an XTM X-terminator also ( Thanks AC48 :D) I have had it since around last christmas and havent had a problem with it yet, and i bash it pretty dang hard. I would most definitely recommend the buggy to you. I use it for mostly bashing and have 0 complaints. Great price too!

Mark me down for the hypers series. IMO i thinks its the better buggy. I beat the living crap outa mine and it keep coming back for more. The xterm por is 380 and the hyper 7 pbs is 390 nib. Defenatly worth the extra $10. The hyper 8 port engine has nice top end but is a little behing on the low. Thats why they make performance pipes. I reccomend the jp-1 pipe. Pm me if your need to know the website to get it $390 nib.

The x-terminator DELUXE is $380, but the pro is $300.... I think he just wants to bash, so i suggest the strongest buggy possible... like the x-terminator pro :)

Well I'm Going To Get A Mayhem What Do You All Think

Dont. get an X-terminator. Some people have problems with mayhems.

Hope you got alot of tools and spare time... :jk: Well its not a bad buggy i woukd just prefer a hyper 7.

You could go with a prospe, j/k. Get the xterminator.

Sounds like you've decided. I run two MBX-5 Prospecs and one Storm. I bash the crap out of them, and they keep coming back for more.

BUT...

If you have found a buggy you like, go for it.

If you intend to bash it, make certain your local hobby shop can provide parts support and/or that you have a good site to buy parts on line. It would be a major bummer to have a strong buggy downed for one part that you can't find somewhere close at hand.

Just some food for thought. Enjoy your new buggy, when you get it.

haven't gotten it yet just pretty sure this is what I will get, have to work out the money and time thing tho i have to check at the LHS to see if they have parts tho that is a major plus something that I am looking at

I own a Prospec( purchasing a 2nd),a TTEB4 S3, and two Mayhems. RC Driver April addition, Best Buggy Shootout, ranked the Mayhem 1st place out of 5 other RTR's, including the Jammin 1XCR, which placed 2nd to the Mayhem. The number one recommended RTR buggy at all our tracks is the Mayhem, best handling right out of the box and very durable. The best kit buggy is the Mugen Prospec and the Xray XB8. That has proven to be an undisputable fact. Although I may be accused of being biased, I can tell you from 1st hand experiance and doing side by side comparisons with the Ofna hyper 7, Hyper 7 PBS, 9.5 Violater, that the Mayhem is in a league of it's own when it comes to RTR and even some pro buggies.

I'm new on this site and just found you people here are talking about buggies. I'm thinking about to get one too. I found this one on this site. Anyone have any idea about it? Most comments I got from another thread is only complain about smartech but none really said something about this one. Please give some true comments on this model. Please... http://www.rseetoys.com/berserk.htm

Again another cheap knock-off. As we said before, call your local hobby shop, and see if they stock parts for OFNA, Mugen, Thunder Tiger, Kyosho, and Sportwerks buggies. Those are all good, respectable companies that make nice cars. You have to trust us on this, if you want to enjoy this hobby, you have to buy a nice, name-brand car. And, from the looks of that site, it appears that all they carry are the cheapy knock-offs...

If you want a cheap, but good buggy, here's some:

http://ofna.com/ultralxcomp.html around $290 I believe
http://ofna.com/ultrambxcomp.html around $350 I believe
http://ofna.com/hyperPBS.html around $410

The first two really aren't raceable if that's what you're looking for. And, most places carry Ofna parts.

Ofna, has a very wide range of good kits, ranging from under $300, up to $700. There are other companies that make buggies, but Ofna is about the cheapest.

A few more good ones are:

The last one isn't really that reccomended, but it's $300....

wow those are slow.... and you notice, not once do they dare to get them airborne...

But since you seem so intent on not taking our advice that smartech sucks, go ahead and buy it! :arrr:
