didn't know what section of the forums to post this on, but figured i'd let you guys check this out.

i never put a build thread on this site. when i got it one cylinder was pulled off and it was missing a piston, i put it together and decided i wanted it faster so i pull it apart again.

this is what it looked like after putting it together the first time with cast pistons...

and these came in today, i'm still waiting on a boss billet intake for the 34mm carbs, and the stock reed cages and intakes will be replaced with these when the intake comes in

Moved to general chaos. I hope you have good luck with Wiseco pistons, I had 3 in a kx250 and my brother went through 4 on his banshee, they were expanding after a long ride and getting stuck/scarring the cylinder, pretty crazy imo. We got them replaced by the bike shop because of it but still had to pay for the cylinder to be honed out and bored once on my bike.

bummer, i never heard of that happening.. you sure your jetting was in spec? and also, you let them warm up first rite?

I used Wiseco for 10+ years while racing....never had one fail all by itself. Had a few fail when cranks blew...and wrist pins and such... They make some good stuff, assuming your cylinder bore is correct ;-)

Yeah man, it was weird to us and the bike shop as well. You should be good though, that was several years ago and I did run a Wiseco in my last bike without a problem.
