OK, I finally got modivated,and now its a mission!My HPI RS4 3ss is going to be the maddest,baddest TC3 eater out there!Finally got fed up with all the RS4 bashing that goes on in here and its time to smoke some TC3 ass,I'm staying with the OS .15 CVR-X mill for handleing purposes,Ill post pix and keep yall updated in weeks to come???????:flamer: TC3

Dude I know the feeling. I have a type SS and am on the same quest as yourself. I am sure or at least hope you know this will not come cheep. I'm about $400.00 into mine and still have plans for more upgrades. I seriously can't wait till I get to kick some good ass with this thing.

How hard is it to put the OS .15 CVR-X into an rs4, What is needed? Could I use the 2 speed I have on my rs4-3 with 15fe mill.

Also what engine is in the tc3, and what ps is it?

Carnage, the OS.15 CVR-X will directly drop into the rs4-3, the only issue i came across is when installing, the pullstart is a little wider than the 15Fe engine, you will have to shave a little off the rear shock tower in order to line up the gearing properly. You can also use the stock 2 speed with no problem.

I hope you just want to make your hpi faster for parking lots. Because I am pretty sure you wont beat any NTC3 on a track. It simple there just isnt enough ajustment and upgade you can do to it. buy a NTC3 and you'll be half way to being the maddest,baddest touring car out there. Instead of just starting at the bottom.

Dude that RS4 has to have well over $1500.00 in it. I have about $900.00 wrapped up in mine and it still doesn't look like that. Nice car.

These are some pics of my nitro car. It started as an RS4-3 last
Christmas. The only thing that is original is the differentials
(actually they are new). The entire chassis is CNC machined from
6061 aluminum using an original design. The top and bottom plates
have been completely "jeweled", or better known as "engine turned"
both sides. It uses a custom cable steering setup and the entire car has
been either polished, chromed or custom purple anodized by myself.
This car will do well over a hundred and it is a labor of love. Below is
a list of some features.

CNC machined and jeweled top and bottom plates.
CNC machined and polished custom tranny mounts
CNC machined and polished tranny gears
Blueprinted and polished/chromed/anodized tranny
Ofna hyper 21 8 port, blueprinted/ported/polished w/9mm slide
Knife edged and polished Novarossi rod
Polished and chromed custom turbo crank
CNC machined custom anodized flywheel
CNC machined and anodized "dagger" pullstart handle w/steel cable
Chromed clutch bell w/anodized pinions
Motor is completely polished exterior
Carbon fiber boost bottle
Custom made RPM pipe and header
Custom CNC machined and anodized A arms
Custom made 2 inch billet wheels with 42mm and 20mm foams
Custom laser cut front bumper
Custom CNC machined battery holder with chromed NiMi batteries (sick)
Custom CNC machined brake disk w/carbon fiber pads
Fully functional N2O system.
Much much more detail is involved in this car.

This car does sixty before it even shifts into second gear. It flat out
fries the tires on a hard launch and leaves big fat rubber patches. The 911 body
is painted 3 color "chameleon" paint and has a custom laser cut smoked
polycarb and Carbon fiber wing supported by CNC machined and polished aluminum
mounts. This took seven months to build a final design.
