Bad day

Thanks guys. Actually hit the corner of a building. Pretty fast too. Units get wrecked/totaled on a fairly regular basis. In a department the size of mine, I'd say at least a couple a month. I wish they would consider a better handling vehicle. These new "sports cars" that are coming out, light weight, great cornering ability, high powered low cylinder vehicles, are really starting to give criminals the edge. Especially if itsnstolen, and the dude is driving like he stole it.
The airbag deployed but somehow I still managed to get through the windshield a lil bit.
My leg is pretty bad. Lots of deep bruising, sprained knee and hip and some small chips on the bone in my right knee. Neck is pretty stiff, but the pain killers and muscle relaxers are doing theirnjob there. Heads a lil swollen, but the gash fortunately wasn't very deepvso no stitches were required.
The dr at the hospital took one look at the pictured of the scene, then at me and said "I don't believe in god, but I know that that St. Michael medal around your neck is the only reason that you are still alive. Right now." that was pretty powerful stuff to me. Ok going back to sleep, I'll update y'all as I get info.

Its crazy how stuff happens. I've broken 2 windshields with my head no seat belt on and didnt hurt anything at all. Went home, went to bed and went to work on time the next day. Even flipped a fullsize truck bed over hood and landed on the roof and still went right to bed and up for work the next day. Glad to hear you're alright even though it sounds like you're banged up pretty bad

Around here the only cops that drive the crown vics and other "tanks" are the State Police, all the local county and city cops all drive chargers and powerstrokes. Did you guys get who you were in pursuit of?

Glad you're just a little banged up, bro. I've actually flipped a security patrol car end over end, so I kind of know how you feel.

Hopefully they'll get you something that handles a bit better like the new Ford Taurus based Interceptor or a Dodge Charger.

Feel for you bud. I've stacked a few cop cars including one where I rolled six times. No major injuries considering the damage caused to the Focus.

Police forces, world over, need better cars. Govt cut backs don't help.

Yea. Doing better today, actually went to the hospital to hold my new born (born yesterday morning) niece for the first time. So that was pretty cool. I plan on. Going back to work hopefully on Friday.

I know how feel about the new niece, Alpine. I got my first niece almost 2 years ago and have loved every minute that I've spent with her.
