So the other day, I was checking the electronics and such, I rolled it back and forth as usual. Well, it did not roll. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the clutch bell was hanging off. I then took the clutch bell off and then I put it back on. It rolled smooth so I started it up. It started fine but it refused to stay running. Even when I was doing a full speed pass it would just shut off. I took it to my closest hobby shop. They were going to start it, but after just 2 pulls, the pullstart rope, along with the handle, came completely out. So, they couldn"t see what I was talking about. I ordered a drill start instead of a pullstart because that was my second one that went bad. So my question is this: What could the problem be with my buggy not staying running? Could it be the clutch? Thanks! Any answers, comments, or ideas would be very much appreciated.

Does it shut down under power or when you come to a stop? If it wont stay running under breaking it could be a clutch problem for sure. If the clutch is staying engaged it will cause engine to bog down. Check your shoes and spring or springs (depending on which type clutch your running) for any damage. Another thing to look for other than tuning is the engine could be worn out and losing compression when its heated up to running temps causing it to shut down and not want to start again till it cools down. If this is the case then its time for a rebuild or new engine. Lets hope its just damaged clutch shoes or spring.

It shuts off on throttle and when it comes to a stop. It never wants to stay running until it is warmed up and that is how it has always been for me. I haven't run it in a while. Thank you very much.
