What car is this on and what type of brakes are they? Assuming they're disc, check to see that when the brake is supposed to be engaged that the brake cam is pushing the plate with enough force & friction. If your plates aren't locking against the brake pad, tighten down your plate screws.

just tightend the screws and took it out bashing...the brakes are well now...well kinda of a bad day today lol i lost my rear left dogbone...i was climbing a dune then all of a sudden i hear it scream lol i bring climb up to it and i see no dogbone.. i looked everywhere in the dune but still can't find it....off to the lhs again :P

You lost a universal? dear god you have bad luck. When you get the new part make sure you put some threadlocker on that set screw so it doesn't come loose. While you're at it make sure all of the others are tight and have threadlocker on them as well.

I'm starting to wonder if reading the instruction manual would be a good idea? Maybe get a little background in mechanical theroy as well...

You dont' need to be a college grad to run one of these things. Just some patience, care, and general maintenance.

i just lost the dog bone not the universal...i have no idea how it fell off more like flew off i dunno where it went!

Do you think maybe you broke it and that is how it came out? I have done a few on my Savage. The only other thing I can think of is somehow it ended up with a ton of chassis flex.....

well i didnt have it on much stress...i was just climbing a smooth dune at wot lol i guess your right it broke....how did you break your dogbones?

Basicly the exact same way....climbing a big hill....WOT...caught some good traction....and the Savy became a front wheel drive....not so good lol.

If the suspension arms wear out they can cause enough movement to let the dogbone eject.
Under WOT a sudden catch in traction will shear them in two easily.
If the cups that the dogbone ends ride in are worn, they will break from the excess play.

ooo thnx i never knew that! but one thing i still can't get...how the hell did i get tracktion in a sand dune..no rocks nothing just sand...guess I'm really unlucky

traction** typo
