Running into issues getting everything to line up. The problem child strikes again. Solution will be a little redesign and I'm just going to glue the bed to the cab and be done with all the problems (bsck to my original plan). My plan to make things interesting kinda failed when I realized two screws necessary to dismantle the bed and fuel cell would be inaccessable once the bed is glued in.

But this project has had its turn on the bench and then some. Breydon is here for 9 days, and the Hammer Rey is now top priority. He showed up with a bit of a cold, so hopefully tomorrow we can get the Rey buttoned up.

I'll pick this back up in a few days. But the spraybooth is on another bench, so I'll be gluing the bed on in a bit, then the body is off to paint after that dries and things are prepped. So I'll still be putting some time on this.

More to come.
Makin’ it happen, Cap’n! 🤩

I probably should have waited til after I painted the cab and roll bars to glue the roll bars in, but I needed the bed held together better to finish this.

I hate when you have to assemble a tight spot before you can paint it, but sometimes ya gotta do, what ya gotta do. 🤷‍♂️

With the paintjob I have planned, it won't much matter 😉

When I get the rest of the supplies I need to continue, and the weather warms up so I can go outside and spray some primer on it. The truck is done other than paint.

Turn your shower into a spray booth. 😜

This guitar body was painted in my spare bathroom. By the time I was done I wiped about a dustpan full of overspray off the walls, shower, and floor 😆

I know the feeling, I used to airbrush in the spare bedroom, the whole room was coared in paint dust. 🤣

Yeah, I seriously thought about shooting it in the bathroom, but I don't want to go through the cleanup again. I'm in no hurry anyway, and I actually still have some more paints I need to order for it that are out of stock at Spraygunner, and I don't like ordering paint from anywhere else. I didn't realize I needed these other paints until I got to doing some research on the design I'm planning. I think you're going to like it though 😉

@WickedFog was this ever finished?
Not sure how I missed this.
Sadly, no. Not yet. I had to build a new computer that I started in late October. I am still buying parts for it. I still need a GPU, but the 5070 TI I want is out of my price range until I get a bit caught up on things.

That and my health has been chitty. I will get back on this project soon I hope.
