Hi there,
I just bought a RTC and am hooked. I already added 8 oz to front tires and 4 to the rear. I siped the tires with my dremel and drilled holes to allow air in the tires. I then star cut the foam. I took off the steering servo saver and like the response.

So..I need some help...I'm confused about the "Lipo" purpose. What is the point of a Lipo battery to power the steering when you already have a battery to power the steering?

My complaint about my RTC is the steering seems week and I would like more throw. Is this what the Lipo helps with? What mods do I need to make to get a tighter steering setup with sharper steering angles?

Thanks much!

The Lipo would replace your Nimh battery pack, if you want tighter steering you will need a better steering servo with more torque, 300 oz or more, also you might want to go with a little less weight up front and no weight in the rear. There are several things you can do for the steering. read through some of the threads, if you read through my shafty build posts you will see several things I did to improve the amount of steering my AX10 had...

^^ What he said, I followed very close to him when I built mine and it was awesome^^
