cool. if you have any questions or if he does about what are good things to do on it to make it better feel free to ask.......right off the bat, tires.

thanks. tires, dog leg links, flipping the shocks and adding weights to the front tires. I almost have to get a crawler myself or any more suggestiongs I make will feel like meddling.

I suggested added .22 cal pellets to the front tires for added weight. I'm not sure if the pellets sloshing freely in the tire cavity is a good idea. So far he's removed the foam that came with the kit, seems to have improved its performance a great deal.

yeah you can do bb's or i guess pellots but they are effing annoying! just pick up some wieghts at the hobby shop or go to a tire shop and they might give you some for free....he needs to get the battery lower too. yall need to watch the for sale section here cuz i sale my used tires like once a week it seems lol...anything is better than the stock lizards.

looks like he is off to a great start. i got weights at the discount tire, i gave the guy 5 bux for 4 sticks of them. I'm fixing to sell my hammers since i just upgraded to panthers. the bent links will help a lot to! I'm fixing to get the EEM skid and 4 link the front and rear.

I'm thinking I can fab up some dog legs from thick walled alum. tubing and the appropriate screws for threaded inserts.

We'll see if he goes with the pellets. They'll move around a lot more than fixed weights, but any added weight to the front is better.

We looked for saddle packs to put over the front axle but our LHS didn't carry any so my bro settled on a 2100mha 2s lipo

here ya go....

strc bent links, 30 deg or middle bend too....plus a butt load of other upgrades for real cheap with super fast shipping...
