Time for this truck to find a new home. Fantastic little crawler reworked for handling steep inclines and technical trails. No mud bogging...! I'm talking to you @majin
Usual Pay Pal details. Truck is used and sold "as is" with no other extra parts.
$300 + shipping and insurance.
Build Specs:
We started with the Axial Basecamp RTR and executed the following changes:
RTR Electronics to the rubbish bin.
Removed extra weight.
Removed rear bumper.
Trimmed chassis.
Aluminum chassis braces.
Trimmed rear bottom section of body.
Added on a set of Axial 1/10 Honcho sliders.
Castle 1900 Slate sensored motor with Copperhead 10 stripped ESC.
Reefs 422 HD V2 servo.
Aluminum front bumper & servo mount.
Swapped out to a Kimbrough 88 tooth spur gear.
Overdrive front axle portal gears.
Brass portal gear covers.
Brass diff cover.
Droop front shocks with droop / sprung rear shocks for more realistic driving characteristics.
Aluminum beadlocks / Crawler Innovations 2-stage foams, JConcepts Tusk tires.
2800 gram running weight with a 59/41 balance and 50/50 side to side.
*Not included is the Spektrum transmitter receiver. If you want it, it's an additional $30. Lipo battery shown is also not included.
*The ESC is modified; the power switch has been removed and wires soldered.
As a sleeper build, this truck performs surprisingly well on technical terrain. We tell people it's just a trimmed Basecamp until they ask to look under the hood.! That said, it's still running the factory chassis rails, factory transmission, factory links, factory shock towers, factory shocks and front ( trimmed ) bumper.
