hey guys just got my engine fully run in now it took about 2 gallons, i was just wondering how i could tame the power of this engine and get better run times, is there any restrictors that will fit?

I have heard some rumors that this engine has more bottom end and the same top end as the os speed, is this at all true, i have never seen the speed run?

any help is much appreciated

Cheers mat

Carb restrictors, put a 7mm insert in it if you can. Also you can just dial back the throttle EPA and retune from there. It works wonders for fuel consumption. You rarely need WOT in a buggy or truggy anyways. I would not doubt this engine is as quick if not quicker than the O.S. It will last longer than the O.S. for sure. V-Specs are not very reliable. They need bearings and repinched pretty often.
My next engine purchase will be the Axe Rossi Sport 7 port, I've been eyeballing it for a while.
edit; you need to check the front bearing in this engine ASAP. I'd go ahead and replace it. A 20 dollar front bearing every two gallons is cheap insurance.

EPA stands for end point adjustment. It's a setting on the TX that sets how far the servo can move at the end of it's travel.
