axail 1s .28 engine break in

can i use 16% nitro fuel to break in axail 1s.28 engine for my savage. i know 20-30% is recommended, but will 16% damage my engine?

Also if i break in with 16% nitro ,can use 20% later ? thanks for the help in advance.

Don't take my word for it but I think you can but when u switch to 20% you'll have to tune it different.

Your right Crunkvilletx. These engines like high nitro, get some 25-30% nitro. It will run better and tune easier. 16% is not worth bothering with.
I have had 4 of these engines. I did a lot of testing with fuels and plugs.
30% Nitro with 8-12% oil and Axial #4 medium cool plugs produce the best performance, coolest temps and engine life.
