Hey guys, thinking about getting the slash after x-mas. Just wanted to know what battery's you use in stock slash and how long run times are. Also what charger you use. Thanks Guys!

I use Venom 3600 mAh 6 cell packs with an average run time of 20 minutes. I run a Prophet Sport AC/DC charger at 4 amps on DC to charge with an average charge time of 25 minutes.

Right now I am looking at some 7 cell packs for the Brushless system I am buying next week...

I only use the 5000mah 7cells with a duratrax 200 charger. takes aboout 25 minutes to charge @ 5amps and last about 40 minutes... they are made by cheapbatterypacks.com....

Custom 5000 mAh 7 cell pack with Traxxas connector for $40.25 which is a decent price IMO... Gonna be my B/L packs!

Venom 4200mah 7c hump packs, Its the packs that the slash was designed to run with the battery mount. I also use the Duratrax ICE charger. Charges all of my batteries.

What configuration are your 7 cell packs in? Don't know which is best and I think all three styles will fit the Slash battery tray... Of course gotta remove the foam spacer for the stick pack but I don't know if thats for the straight stick or the unconvential...

ill be running 7 cell packs in mine after x-max then ill get a 3 cell when brushless for speed runs and keeping up with alpine

yeah after getting those 7c 5000's it runs so good I finally broke a rear arm but that was WOT clipping a curb hard sideways in the rain so it was worth $10 to me....:whhooo:

first thing to break on mine was rear knuckles.i accomplished this after a 15-20 trip thru the air with a perfect landing on all 4s.might have somthing with it being below 20 outside??

How fast are they with the 7 cells?

About 20% faster then with the 6 cell sticks. I noticed an instant difference, when going to a 7 cell, (hump style fits fine) 4200mah Venom.
