Racing today, finally. Only raced 2 days this year. Plus on a new layout

Looks like a nice, clean, professional set-up!
Now, just remember to have your car face in the same direction as everybody else, this time.
.....and take off running to the food court during the race because you smell BBQ.

Are you using your new Futaba tx?
Using my flysky nb4
But wanting to put the futaba in here to see how it compares.

Got a new pair of rear slicks from a local racer. Just gotta order new fronts. My old sets were completely done. Rubber was falling apart. Worn down. Plus you could see the insert from the rivets in the tires.

Man, I was having transponder issues last heat. After i got off track I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it works. Weird. But main is next and should be starting 4th out of 5 racers. Meh not the best. My driving is pretty good during practice but racing, I gotta work on it.

Sounds like a psychological pressure issue. Easier said than done, but don't race and just strive for clean laps.

Well today blows

Had transponder issues in the main which I got surprisingly 2nd in (well also 2 other people also had car issues)

Buddy said relocate my transponder as I used to have it on top of the servo and we thought the carbon fiber or servo was interfering with the signal for the transponder. Moved it next to the receiver with double sided tape. Didn't work. And then I was messing around with the wire to get it to work and nothing. Buddy said call mylaps too see if they rebuild them. Probably gonna get a new one as this transponder was a loaner from my uncle so it's been used alot. And it's so old too.
