The 8.0 has a spur gear stabilizer an the spurs output shaft is different ,the gears
in the trans maybe all metal ,as far as that I dont know as I never had the 8.0 version ,
however ,I did have the spur & that stabilizer bracket & bearing from one that is
how I know that a 4.6 spur set up will not interchange with an 8.0 ,the spur output
shaft is different!
