the sharpie marker writing is a joke for a friend, it still has the protective wrap on it so the writing will come off

Not a bad first attempt. It does get easier. As far as trimming, take your time and do a thorough job. You may want to use a Dremel with a sanding disk to help take off the odd burrs.

I think most of those "burrs" are actually the exterior wrap.

It will look a lot better when you remove the over-spray film. But not bad!

it does look shinier now that I've removed the plastic wrap, and I've also straightened out the cuts.

i also went wild today and painted the stock GT2 body flat black!


My buddy says i should cut out the hole (by the engine) larger.... what do you think
