Thanks guys! I am still waiting for the weather to clear to fly it, but I am excited to put it into the air :D

You and me both, so its rocketry time. Say, GB still launching? Got a new Toy, nothing much but a Aerotech classic and some E sized engines.

That rocket looks amazing! I will say that since my daughter was born, I have not had a chance to get out to shoot off rockets. I really miss it though!
Busy poppa! Cool thing about rockets, you can fly em over 10 mph. Just cut a spill hole in the chute and she will land near you and not in Russia.

I used to build rockets. Never launched one I didn't lose except for a crappy one. The last one I launched I built over a few weeks. Beautiful 3 tube rocket. She went fairly straight up, but got into heavy wind up top of the flight path. It ended up drifting about 3 football fields and landed in the top of a tree that was maybe 75 feet high. And I was aiming away from the trees. The one I could launch and retrieve was a paper towel tube with a paper nose cone and carboard tail fins. Damn thing flew straight as an arrow and fell back nearly where I launched it every time. No chute. It was basically a paper towel tube with a motor 🤣

That is a good point. The big risk is she will hate the launch sound because it sounds a little like the pressure cooker releasing. I am going to hold off until she is more ok with that kind of sound. That will ensure she loves them like us :D

That is always the risk for sure! It is worth it though......so much fun :D

Those aerotech engines will surprise you, they are louder than the black powder estes engines. The rocket will tear into the sky quickly. LOL! Some amature rockets penetrated the 260,000 atmosphere and floated in space for a short time and came back and landed miles away from the launch pad.
