Hi y’all!
Thought I’d share my body mount technique without using those dang clips and it’s super easy/cheap.

I cut some industrial strength Velcro to fit the inside edge of my truck and the outside edge of the frame. Important to put the “fuzzy” part in the body shell and not the car itself. Made a difference while I was driving. I did cut the strips longer than needed on purpose as suggested in some videos I watched. When done just put your body shell on, fasten the sides down and you’re good to go in seconds. Taking it off is as easy as zipping your jacket.

Did some pretty good bashing (not too extreme) and it held up just fine. Street racing it definitely works. Mind you I did steal this idea but improved it just a tad. Hoping to save my finger tips and a few others this winter lol.

That's pretty cool! Stays put okay when bashing?
So far so good. Nothing too extreme but I'm about to go put that to the test now. I'm thinking if it does come lose at all, will just add the clips in those extreme circumstances.

Just got done with some pretty nice jumps, highest one being around 30ft and the body stayed on with no issues at. Even after crashing a couple of times. Lost a wing mount unfortunately but the body survived lol.
