Arrma Granite rear end keeps locking up

I upgraded to the metal rear gear set. I take it apart it spins fine. when I put all back together and run it for a short time it lock up. What am i missing? I've watched the install videos several times... Is there a shim needed somewhere?

Sounds like something in there is is getting overly compressed when its fully assembled? Not real sure. Never ran in to that issue before. Can you take some pics or some short vids and post em? Maybe somebody can see something wrong or off
