I bet the one for the little gas engines would rip!! Not so sure about the one for the Nitro engines.. They already run on a mix of nitro, so introducing more would probably overstress the block, head, piston, rod, crank, etc.. That's just my opinion though.. I'd be interested to hear what others have to say about it, or from some who've tried it! Prolly be fun for a few minutes anyway!! :D

One of the RC mags did a write up on it a few years back, with dyno results and all. It actually worked, unlike the little superchargers. I'd be concerned with engine longevity though.

The cost of the nitrous system out weighs what little gain you would get. You would be better off getting a more powerful engine or running a higher percentage of nitro.

I'm running a very well tuned rusty at the time (only thing i can race around here is a rusty class) it has a 3.3 so any more power to it i couldnt handle it!

I dunno about the nitro, but I know I "DO" want a car stand like they have in the video!! Be great to make tuning adjustments w/o the car running down the street before it decides to flame out.. :D Never fails, they only flame out, or run out of fuel, when there the farthest away.. :)

anyone got a good DIY on how to make that car stand in the vid... would be nice to have 1

I was thinkin, I've seen similar rollers on a "outfeed" table for shop equipment, like table saws and jointers, etc.. Harbor Freight might carry one pretty cheap? All you'd have to do is scavenge the rollers and make a frame that would hold them/the car up, and also make one side moveable so you could change the wheelbase for different cars.. Probably wouldnt be too hard if ya had the parts.. If I get a wild hair I may attempt it.. Would love to hear some other ideas or see some similar projects, if there's any out there!?!
