the basecamp @MVRCA has foor sale is a great deal, its cheaper than from the factory and already has some very nice upgrades on it so saving even more money there. 10/10 would recomend getting that basecamp. if you dont it wont be there for long. trust me lol
if you were to get the already upgraded version however. you are kind of cheating yourself of a LOT of fun that comes from seeing what needs an upgrade or which one you want to do, like o man i need more weight down low in front to keep my tires glued to the ground or, man i wish it was a little slower/faster for getting up n over,

The SCX question was specific to the truck because its a good price for whats for sale.

As far as indoor crawling because I'm looking for something to do inside this winter... that depends on how many storms and how bad!
If I can get to the track for racing I'll be happy with that I think.
I'd like to find an r/c rig for my g/f to run.
She might like it or not... a stock Gorgon on 2s, even @ 50% throttle is more than she enjoys.

The SCX10 has so many aftermarket companies making parts for it that you honestly can’t go wrong with any generation. If you break an axle, you can change it to a new one that still has parts available. If you break a tranny, you can do the same. That is just my two cents as an OG SCX10 owner.

JJJJJJJIf I'm honest, right now I have the Optima spread across the table and is taking the most room.
BUT...
I did have to pull a motor out of something to mate with kyosho's .6 mod spur. Its the only pinion I have in .6 so I hope it works out!
My goal is the new slipper in my car. It will tak a bit of figuring but seems doable...
Point is, i have a steady stream of parts coming and NO desire to put this car away until its built.
So I have both those cars PLUS the Gorgon that I just ran AND the Granite, also needing work.
This is becoming a full time hobby!
Is there a union?

Yeah, this is the kitchen table.
My "work space" has another project on it, also apart. (new chassis came today!)
I have boxes of stuff stored as well.
I think just toooo much, tooooo close to mah cheezy poofs while I'm eating maybe.

yes, they are in display state. Basically electronics are removed so I can display the chassis, some like my kx-one are a pain to remove stuff so I keep some electronics
