You need to check with the track you will be racing at.

no way in hell. If they are I'll Eat my hat!

Please explain why you think it would be illegal.

even if you can't, how hard would it really be to remove them for the race?

considering the fact like its going to be so crowed and no were to stand and stuff. Difficult lol. And i can't phone number because they have no number lol. But thanks for all your advice guys. :)

Thanks for your help, I can't call them but ill send them an email hopefully they will reply soon lol.

Thanks

I would not think bumpers would be a problem, but i have never raced...I would think they would tell you what they do not allow, i have found in my research they are usually specific with tire/wheel size, sometimes the foams you use, i found one that did not allow the spoilers in the 1/10 truck races, i would think you could find there requirements, either prepare to get them when you get there, or start looking up numbers, and web sites....Hard to believe there is no number to get a hold of someone, someone must be in charge of the race....

If your track follows ROAR rules, the TBR bumpers would not be legal.

6.2 BUMPER RULES
6.2.1 Bumpers are not required in all classes, but when used, they must be shock
absorbing and non-metallic, with no sharp edges. For safety, rigid bumpers, such as
fiberglass and composites, are not permitted.
6.2.2 Front bumpers must be of at least 1/8” material (3/32” for 1/12). Bumpers will not
extend forward of the body except on off-road cars. The bumper may not extend to
the side beyond the outer edge of the tires.
6.2.3 Rear bumpers must be made of a solid material with rounded edges and may not
extend to the side beyond the outer edges of the tires, and may not extend beyond

the rearmost part of the body except in off-road vehicles.

I would think that even if the track was not governed by ROAR, they would not allow TBR bumpers for the same reason as ROAR. Getting hit by an 1/8 scale with a TBR bumper could potentially cause severe injuries. TBR bumpers do not have round edges, nor are they shock abosorbing. I wouldn't run one anyways, it's one less thing to get caught on the track.

Ultimately it's up to the individual track, so just check with the track as robmob stated. Get to the track early on raceday and ask them. If they are not allowed, there will be plenty of practice time which leaves you time to remove the 8 screws attaching the bumpers. ;)
