I'm just wondering if slicks or treaded tires are best for parking lot racing? Also are belted tires worth buying? Thanks Scott.

The best tire for racing is foam tires. If you are not allowed to use foams and the parking lot is very clean use slicks if it is not clean use treaded tires.

belive it or not, i prefer std rubber tires to race with. i find them to have more grip than foams. this is however on a hpi super nitro and i run a staggered setup with wider tires out back. this is also in comparison to a staggered set of foam tires i have tried on the same track (correct shore for the track too) so I'm comparing apples to apples. i run on prepared asphalt. i always run belted tires, they dont balloon any where near as much as unbelted tires. just my personal preferance, take it with a grain of salt. i know most people prefer foam.

I've been told foam is good on a prepared track. I'm just looking for parking lot bashing at high speeds. I will most likely buy belted so I'm in control at higher speeds. And at the lot I'm racing in, I have alot of pebbles to deal with. So thanks for the info guys.
