so i saw it. watched videos of it. kinda sweet!! . bought the sim app... does it really handle like the sim? i did see a clear photo taken from aprox 1 mile from launch.
is it worth 300?. i would like some feedback please.

It flies straight and level and no more than 150 ft. from the WiFi controlling device. Kind of boring IMO. I demoed one and ended up getting an mQX.

For $300 you can build up a nice quad, the AR drone is a joke, and as hamz said pretty useless with the limited range.

I've been wanting one for filming drone above when out with the 1:1 but have no idea where to start with one.

The AR Drone might work for those purposes, Alpine. For general flying though, you can't beat the mQX or a home-built.

$$$ is always a factor. Wasn't looking at the drone really, just a decent quad to mount a camera on.

Love for all of my 4 Quads. The AR Drone 2.0 is a lot of fun.
Get's plenty of great shots from up above...
Buy one, you'll really get a kick from it.
