My stepdad told me on march 18th that I have 31 days to get a job, get my grades up, and have 150 bucks in my hand, and can pay for insurance I can have his old car. It's a white Chevy Cavalier. It was just in the shop gettin fixed up. It got a new coil (whatever that is). I put new disk brakes on it last month and it has new tires and the frame was just aligned. I'm working really hard to get this car cuz I get my lisence on May 3rd and it'd be great to be one of the only kids in 10th grade with his own car plus I'd have so much freedom! I'm having a really hard time finding a job though. I applied at many different places and I have'nt heard from anyone yet. I'll get pics of the car up as soon as I can.

Sounds good man. First cars are always a fun time! Mine was a 1986 Hyundai Excel. I beat the snot out of that poor car....lol

i miss my first car. 1967 Landrover series 109. LOVED that big bastard. tractor gears, and a whooping top speed around 70mph. But it would go through ANYTHING.

Start searching online for tips on LANDING a job. You'd be amazed at how many little details and head games are involved. You need to sell yourself without overselling, because you still want them to believe you.

Oh yeah, what happens after the 31 days are up if you have no job?
